Travel With Z: Los Angeles!

Recently I made my second trip to Los Angeles to bring in the new year! Luckily, one of my best friends is an LA native so it's always a good time when I visit. Shoutout to Taelor for making LA feel like my second home.

Melrose has some of the dopest walls with art, so we were able to get some really great shots featuring them.

The one wall I absolutely had to get photos in front of was the infamous "Pink Wall" on Melrose Ave. at the Paul Smith store. To my surprise when we arrived there to take pics, there was a crowd of people already there doing the same. Taking pics on this wall is a "thing" in LA.

For NYE night we attended a party in the Hollywood Hills that had a view to die for! Fun fact about my look for New Years, this was actually my outfit I planned to wear the following week for my 25th birthday. However, the pieces I ordered for New Years weren't delivered by the time it was time for me to leave, so I had to improvise and make it my NYE fit.

In true Zenese and Taelor fashion, we had to be our corny selves and do a little shoot together. We are all about supporting Black Owned Businesses so we picked up these matching hats a few month ago from an online store that carries some really cool apparel items, hats and accessories reflective of our culture.

Overall, this trip was the perfect start to the new year. Again, I always have a great time when I make my way out west. I didn't have to partake in all the typical "tourist" activities this go around, I was able to just enjoy the city.

Thanks for stopping by and I will catch up with you all in my next post! Xoxo, Z!
